What if I've never taken a dance class before?
We offer a Beginner Group Class from 7:00 - 8:00pm on most Tuesday Nights (please see our calendar). This class is designed for students who have little, or no ballroom training.
Do I need a partner to take dance lessons?
No you don't need a partner. In a private lesson you'll receive the focused attention of your ballroom dance instructor, and in group classes we frequently rotate partners.
What style of ballroom dance do you teach?
While we primarily focus on American Style social dancing, we also include group classes in Quickstep, Samba, Salsa and Bolero.
What do I wear?
Attire for most classes and functions is dressy casual. You should wear shoes that don't slip on your feet and leather soles are best.
What's the age range of your students?
Ballroom dancing is enjoyed by people of all ages from those in their 20’s to their 60’s and beyond.
How do group classes work?
Group Classes are a great way to get involved in ballroom dancing. We hold Beginner and Intermediate Group Classes on Tuesday nights from 7:00 - 8:00pm at the Mandarin Buffet in Cherry Hill. CLICK HERE for more details.
How do private lessons work?
Private lessons provide you with one-on-one instruction. Lessons are held on Tuesday nights at the Mandarin Buffet in Cherry Hill, and must be scheduled in advance. CLICK HERE for more details.
What's your cancellation policy for private lessons?
Private lessons must be canceled via telephone within 24 hours of your scheduled lesson. Lessons canceled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time will be billed.
What are your ballroom parties like?
Our ballroom dance parties are held throught the year at the Lions Lake Community Center in Voorhees, NJ (please see our calendar). Admission is $25 per person. We provide a one-hour beginner private lesson, buffet dinner, dancing, games and prizes. Many of our parties are themed and we encourage everyone to dress-up and have fun!
